Bass - Garrett Gunn

Meet Garrett Gunn, a beloved member of Living Water Quartet who has been lending his talents to the group since 2020. His love for Southern Gospel music ignited in the 70s when he witnessed George Younce perform the "Laughing Song" at the Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth, TX. Encouraged by his childhood friend Brian Rayburn, Garrett took the plunge at 54, embracing his role as a performer and now as a published songwriter. Garrett adds that rich, pure "butter melting" bass to the group. He is known as "Pop" Gunn to his nine grandchildren. Garrett and his wife Wendy, affectionately called "BB Gunn," reside in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

BARITONE - RICK LEGG

Rick was born and raised in West Virginia, where Southern Gospel music was woven into his life from the very beginning — his father and brother both sang in a quartet, and the tradition took root early. Rick gave his life to Jesus at nine and sang in his first group at seventeen. It was with the Joyfulaires that he met his future wife, Martha, a fellow member of the group, making those years especially meaningful. While traveling and ministering, Rick earned his college degree in music as a voice major, then answered the call to full-time worship ministry — serving churches and forming quartets along the way. He has been involved with regional quartets in both Texas and Florida. In early 2026, the baritone chair in Living Water Quartet opened up, and God had just the right man ready to fill it. Ask Rick how it happened — it's a story worth hearing! Rick adds a rich, seasoned baritone voice reminiscent of the legendary Doy Ott of the Statesmen Quartet.

LEAD - TIM HAMONTREE

Tim's love for Southern Gospel took root early, watching his dad, aunt, and cousins rehearse harmonies from his perch on a stool as a young boy. That front-row education never left him. Over the years, Tim has lent his voice to some well-respected groups — including The Glory Road Quartet, The Calvary Boys of Dallas, The Canaan Heirs (alongside Larry Thomas), The Central Sound Quartet out of Round Rock, Texas, and The Classics Quartet, just to name a few. He'll sing anything that honors the Lord, but ask him about the old school songs and watch his eyes light up. Recently retired from full-time music ministry, Tim now resides in Mt. Pleasant, Texas with his beautiful and talented wife Shari. Together they enjoy the rewards of the next generation — a daughter, son-in-law, and two cherished grandchildren.

brian rayburn - tenor

Brian's love for Southern Gospel took off in the early 80s when his parents took him to his first Cathedral Quartet concert. They bought him two records on the way home — and he wore the needle through both within six months trying to emulate Kirk Talley. After serving his country in the Gulf War, Brian returned home, started a family with his wife Dorrie, and put that passion for gospel music to work. He co-founded the Crusader Quartet with Larry Thomas in 2000, later sang with the Harmony Quartet, and in 2014 formed the Living Water Trio — the group that would eventually grow into The Living Water Quartet. Off the stage, Brian spent 30 dedicated years serving Dallas County as a Deputy Sheriff's Sergeant before retiring in 2023. He now continues serving his community through school-based law enforcement in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Brian and Dorrie reside in Talco, Texas, where they take every opportunity to spoil what they are absolutely certain is the most perfect little granddaughter in the world — Hazel Ruth.

Larry Thomas - PIANO

Larry Thomas is without question the senior statesman of Living Water Quartet — and that title is well earned. He has been playing piano since he was a very young boy, and caught the Southern Gospel bug at fourteen when he attended his first concert near his home in California. He has never looked back. Now 80-plus years young, Larry brings more old-school Southern Gospel experience to this group than the rest of the quartet combined. He is leading Living Water into a style of gospel music that is rare in modern circles — rich, soulful, and deeply rooted. When you hear Larry play, it will transport you straight back to the era of Hovie Lister and the Statesmen Quartet, a sound that has largely faded from today's gospel stages. Larry is a California native, but as he'll tell you himself — he got to Texas as quick as he could. He now proudly calls Rockwall, Texas home.

Johanthan Bradley- Bass Guitar

Johnathan Bradley, a Mt. Pleasant, TX native, grew up immersed in gospel music through his Southern Baptist upbringing — some of his fondest memories are watching Gaither Homecoming specials with his grandfather.  He first picked up the bass guitar in the Mt. Pleasant High School Jazz Band, a foundation that earned him a full scholarship to the University of Arkansas at Monticello's world-renowned Jazz Program. In college, he also played bass for the Christian Jazz ensemble Gary Meggs and the Ezekiel 3:16 Band. Today he plays every Sunday at Highland Park Baptist Church and lends his talents to the Mt. Pleasant Community Orchestra as principal Tuba player and occasional String Bassist.  His path to Living Water was a divine appointment — Lead singer Tim Hamontree visited Highland Park Baptist one Sunday, heard Johnathan play, and the rest is history.  By day, Johnathan serves as Chief Revenue Officer for All American Trailer Connection, a multi-location trailer dealership network across Florida. He and his high school sweetheart, Margaret, are raising two children — Austin (16) and Charlotte (9) — in Mt. Pleasant.
